My Resolution

I am into healthy thinking these days. I have never thought about making New Year’s resolutions before, but I am going to this year, for the first time. My resolution is to lose weight and to get fitter. Since I can’t cook, I will need my Mom’s help. Can I do it? I am not sure…but Judy is. I can’t prepare my lunchbox or my dinner plate, but I am asking my parents to start reducing my food. I also need to get more exercise to get stronger. To keep myself on track, I will regularly update everyone on this blog. 


I am excited, actually. It feels like I am a normal person, doing this. I know that speaking people make resolutions, but it never occurred to me to do so as well. I kind of feel empowered, like I can have some control over my life and body. I never felt that before. It always felt like other people made every decision for me. 

Definitely I cannot decide to do this without help. These things require help from my family. I know they certainly will support me though. This is a step toward greater autonomy for me.
