History

I am feeling optimistic lately. I’m not sure exactly why. It’s certainly partly due to the NBC News piece last week. It’s also kind of partly due to the gala, which was awesome. It’s probably also due to feeling more regulated. I think, too, there’s just something in the air. 
I feel like there’s a shift - like, there are just more people believing in us. It seems like suddenly we have media attention.  Judy says that The Daily News is running an article on Sunday. I hope it’s positive. It’s also possible that Time Magazine may run a huge article. It’s funny but it sort of feels like Senator Fahy inadvertently did us a favor when she ruined the communication bill. Suddenly everyone is interested in our situation. 

I do think we are reaching a critical mass. There are more and more of us every day. It feels exciting, like this stuff will be in history books. And yeah, I’ll be able to say, “I was there when.”  ​
