My name is Justin Abinanti and I am nonspeaking. I am most certainly verbal though. Many of my fellow nonspeakers are highly academic, but not me. I think I must have been born under a silly star. I’m eager to make it in comedy. I’ve given it thought and I am a born stand-up. Unfortunately the world is not quite ready for a stand-up comedian who cannot speak. Not being able to speak might hold some people back, but I am basically professionally resilient. Maybe I’ll never take over hosting the Tonight Show or starring at Caroline’s Comedy Club, but there are other ways to shine.

Thus my blog which gives me, a speller, a venue to comment on the idiocy, silliness, weirdness and hilarity of our world.

Not Happy

I’m actually in a bad mood today. I can’t stay grumpy though in Judy’s presence. I am smiling, even though I’m pissy. I believe it’s because I have to go to boring programs some days. I am beyond bored at them. I am formally lodging a complaint with the authorities. I believe my time would be better spent watching paint dry. Trust me - that would be more interesting. I believe that one more day at them may result in my head exploding.

It won’t be pretty.

Perhaps you don’t believe that someone can die of boredom. I don’t want to be the test subject to prove it. I can already feel the pressure building in my head.

I am so bored that I began to make up stories in my head to pass the time. In my favorite one, my head explodes all over the teacher. She is covered in my brain and it eats her.

Not happy. I can’t say it enough: I’m not happy.
