SUBLIMELY RIDICULOUS

Insights on Today's World
A Blog
by Nonspeaker, Wit,  Sage and Standup Comic

My name is Justin Abinanti and I am nonspeaking. I am most certainly verbal though. Many of my fellow nonspeakers are highly academic, but not me. I think I must have been born under a silly star. I’m eager to make it in comedy. I’ve given it thought and I am a born stand-up. Unfortunately the world is not quite ready for a stand-up comedian who cannot speak. Not being able to speak might hold some people back, but I am basically professionally resilient. Maybe I’ll never take over hosting the Tonight Show or starring at Caroline’s Comedy Club, but there are other ways to shine.

Thus my blog which gives me, a speller, a venue to comment on the idiocy, silliness, weirdness and hilarity of our world.

My Requests

I am lucky in so many ways. Certainty my parents rock. I am kind of feeling like if my Mom hadn’t brought me to Judy almost six years ago, my life would be hell right now:  I would be in daycare every weekday. Instead, here I am, eating chips, and hanging with Judy.

I am lucky that Judy never gives up on any of us, because I gave her a really hard time for years. I am a changed Justin, which brings me to the main point of this post. I really want to have more academics in my life.  (Judy just said that me writing that sentence proves that miracles can happen. (It’s true!)) I want to learn about literature. I am formally requesting admittance into one of Judy’s classes. I am definitely turning into a nerd.  (I am going to ask for poetry after that.)

I am certainly not the same Justin who walked into Judy’s basement in the summer of 2020. I am now Justin-the-intellectual.

Justin - I am starting to examine in-person options for you, Dustin and friend to proctor at local collages. For now, take a look at Stanford's A.I. lectures -https://x.com/NieceOfAnton/status/2004583963952865389
