POTENTIAL

By Massimo Frank

People perceive me as my old self, but that’s not me anymore. I am new Massimo, who Judy made free, like her other students. New Mass is potential. New Mass is more than he seems on the outside. New Mass is perhaps the happiest person on earth.

Lots of us say that…but I win the contest.

An Introduction

Mass was born the day he spelled his first sentence to Judy.

I rose from the dead, for all intents and purposes. Prior to that, I’m really serious when I say, I was putting on an act of toughness for my parents…but I was not living. Mocking real life, I pretended to live. Loneliness made each day hell. People cannot understand how unbearably lonely it is to have no one know you.

Today I am different in that I’m seen. My family knows me a bit and are learning more every day. Perhaps that might make me like a child who reveals himself as he grows. But that’s ok, because my life is in front of me. Now I can learn and grow into who I was meant to be.

More in my next post.
