Truth, Science and Autism

The realization that autism is not what people think may take time to be really grasped. People can only accept that, when all is said and done, their belief that those diagnosed with autism are cognitively impaired, is truth. Their absolute conviction leaves no room for doubt. What is already accepted as truth must be right, after all. Just like the earth is flat. For each truth that is accepted without scientific corroboration, there comes a time when the lie is exposed. All those with the diagnosis of nonspeaking autism are not cognitively disabled. Science will demonstrate this soon. And we will have the real truth.
