12/12/2025 1 Comment Progress ReportAwkward that more appear to be having my issues. For the longest time I could not look at the board with my central vision. I am thrilled Mom and Dad brought me to see Judy. I am now able to look at the board with my central vision, and methodically type. Appearances matter in the spelling world; having the ability to type like this is important. Getting there is hard work, but it is worth it.
Many people did not believe I was typing in the old way. I knew it looked terrible. I am so intending to make myself another Vince Rinicella or Alex Gorman and type on the keyboard. Happily, I am almost ready. I am happier than I have ever been.

11/14/2025 0 Comments Happiness Is In My HandsI am so happy these days. There are many reasons. I am trying to learn to type on the keyboard. That will change my life. Few people believe in me when I spell with my father. I spell sloppily with him. Maybe someday people will believe in me. I am learning to spell with Judy slowly and methodically. It is really difficult for me. I have spent 10 years developing bad habits. Habits are hard to break. But I will do it because I am so motivated. Keeping myself slow and not speeding up is the hardest part.
All my friends type on keyboards. That is my dream, and I will succeed. I am not giving up, no matter what. 9/5/2025 0 Comments MistakesThe thing about spelling is that sometimes I type things that I don’t mean. I am not sure why. It’s like I spaz out getting to the letters I want. It’s like I am then compelled to turn the mistake into a word I don’t really mean. It’s incredibly irritating.
Today Judy told my Dad how to recognize it when that happens. She was spot on. I am so relieved that she knew it. I am so totally into her explaining that. It will help my parents make sure they get my words right. I get that mistakes will happen. But this will ensure that they don’t influence my meaning. |
