4/2/2026 0 Comments Hallmarks Moments and MeI Hallmark Moment every time I walk into Mouth to Hand. I always feel several wonderful things. Firstly, there is the way everyone here never sees us as disabled. It’s a remarkable thing, really; it kind of blows me away. I walk through that door and I transform into just Kevin. Even when I’m doing my OCD stuff, no one bats an eyelash.
Call me crazy but feeling normal makes us act more normal. I am so calm when I am with Judy, I am like a different person. That calm is the second thing I feel. I also sincerely feel happy. I’m always smiling here. I am like grinning the whole time. I still can’t believe I am able to talk. And more than that: I came to the conclusion that I love poetry. It has to be the most interesting thing ever. All those years in school, and I learned nothing. I go to one poetry class and listen to Judy or Professor David, and I learn more than I learned in twenty years of school. I learned about Wordsworth, Coleridge and now Yeats. How lucky am I? Having Mouth to Hand has improved my life more than I can say. I have things to look forward to all the time now. Having the ability to talk, learn, write this blog, and be in a place where I am respected, is certainly a reason to Hallmark Moment.
