4/1/2026 1 Comment The FutureToday my Mom asked me what my life goals are. I couldn’t answer: the question overwhelms me. I am going to be 25 on my next birthday. I am horrifically disabled. How do I know if I can do anything meaningful? Definitely I am cognitively capable of doing things, but my disabled body makes me dependent on others for everything. So what can I do with my life? Can I go to college? If so, how? I want to study history. Can someone tell me how to do that? I want to look forward to the future without dread. I just don’t know how.
