Tommy's Second Day

Today I have the honor of introducing people to Mouth to Hand. This is Tommy’s second time here. Judy says he is doing great and it won’t be more than 6 months until he can talk. It is always thrilling to be the person to show new families what this means in terms of communication. I know it’s hard for parents to absorb the reality that we are not what the so-called experts said we are. Having the chance to show new parents the truth is my favorite thing. I am laughing inside, because I know how happy they will feel when Tommy talks for the first time. I hope I am at M2H that day.
