It’s personally challenging to be mature. I am better at infantile behavior, like most men. It’s lucky that I’m only 8 because there’s a ton of work ahead. I really need to be conscious of my tendency to cuddle Mom. I try to be cool like a teenager, but I still like to cuddle my Mom. I am hoping that, with time, my coolness factor improves. My goal is to be a cool teenager, but it’s an uphill battle.

I am also wearing mature shoes. Today is very important because it is my first day in math. In order to live my dream of curing dyspraxia, I need advanced math and science. I am excited to begin my journey.

It means I need to settle down and start to take life seriously. I am considering my academic career. It is high time I started to seriously study math and science. I will need biology and neuroscience to cure dyspraxia. I want people to tutor me immediately. Kids my age perhaps don’t take academics seriously, but I am a genius. I plan to be in college by 14, if not sooner.  Immediate plans include getting Mom to stop the second grade nonsense. I’m so bored I want to poke my own eyes out. I believe I am ready for AP classes.

It is hard to be mature, but I definitely want to grow up to be like my Dad. He is mature. Many grownups aren’t. I think it’s mostly men who don’t act mature; they act like teenagers, drinking beer and stuff. They need to grow up. So I am making a big effort to be mature for my New Year’s resolution.

This is my favorite place on earth. That's why I get overexcited. When that happens, my body goes nuts. To have it go crazy is not my choice. I wish I could calm down.

It is hard but I can do it.  I want to do it because then everyone will see how smart I really am. Also they can’t say that I’m not talking. Being nonspeaking will definitely stink a little less then. And besides, and then I can go to school. Everyone will say “Leon is so smart!”

It was my first trip there. The people there spoke Spanish. I don’t know Spanish, but I learned hola and gracias. I'm happy that I learned that:  it was interesting.

I don’t want to be acting this way but I can’t help it. Why is my body doing this? I only get to see Judy once a month and my stupid body is wasting time. I really miss being here when I am home. Maybe that’s the issue: I get too excited when I see Judy. I hope I can control myself better as I get older.

The really interesting thing is that I learned to talk when I was only six. That is impressive. That shows how smart I am. 


Oh yeah…Judy rocks too.
